Quality
Basta
has been awarded and subsequently maintained both the Excellence
Ireland's Approved Quality System and the prestigious
I.S EN ISO 9002 certification. Only zinc alloys meeting
the British Standard BS 1004A2 are melted. A fully
automated sprue return system is used to ensure zinc alloy
composition remains within the limits stated in BS 1004A.
The product is constantly inspected throughout the production
run to maintain quality at a high level.

Surface
Finishing
Application
of coatings to zinc diecastings is difficult and demands an
appropriate surface finish. With 40 years experience in the
closely related disciplines of diecasting, electroplating
and powder coating, our understanding of the needs of metal
finishers results in high quality finishes.
