Projection
Hinges
Projection
hinges are designed to enable a door to open
beyond a brick or timber recess. The pivot point
is set away from the door face and the screw
holes are grouped toward the edge of the hinge
leaves. These hinges are produced with different
projections. Parliament hinges are also projection
hinges, but feature part of the hinge removed
to offer pleasant styling and also reduce the
knuckle size. These hinges are also produced
with different projections. In modern homes
this hinge is mostly used for double doors.

Hinges

often use our decorative Flush Hinges to give

a non-Mortice Hinge as it avoids rebating the
wood providing an appealing look to cabinets
and light doors.
Counter
Flap Hinges
Counter Flap Hinges are suitable for upward opening counters.
They open flat at 180 degrees and can be used for many folding leaf applications.

Pin Hinges
The
pin used on these hinges can easily be removed
from the hinge without the use of any tooling
by just pulling the pin out. This allows for the
hinge to be taken apart for easy removal of the
door or window without unscrewing the hinges.
Rise/Fall

is opened and self closes under gravity. A Falling Hinge has the reverse application and allows the door to stay open. Both applications are also useful to clear obstructions on the floor or ceiling.
