Projection
Hinges
Designed to enable
a door to open beyond a brick or timber recess.
The pivot point is set away from the door face
and the screw holes are grouped toward the edge
of the hinge leaves. These hinges are produced
with different projections. Parliament hinges
feature part of the hinge removed to offer pleasant
styling and also reduce the knuckle size. In
modern homes this hinge is mostly used for double
doors.

They open flat at 180 degrees and can be used for many folding leaf applications.

Pin Hinges
The
pin used on these hinges can easily be removed
from the hinge without the use of any tooling
by just pulling the pin out. This allows for the
hinge to be taken apart for easy removal of the
door or window without unscrewing the hinges.
Rise/Fall

WP Manufacture both Brass and Aluminium Rise & Fall Hinges. A Rising Hinge rises when the door
is opened and self closes under gravity. A Falling Hinge has the reverse application and allows the door to stay open. Both applications are also useful to clear obstructions on the floor or ceiling.

We recently visited John Lobb who manufactures
hand made shoes and boots for an international
clientele including celebrities and royalty.
Using a traditional manufacturing method steeped
in history every pair of shoes start of with
a mould of the client’s foot hand carved
from a piece of mahogany and a pair of our hinges.
This is known as the shoe 'last' to which our
hinges are fitted allowing it to bend.

designed to keep nuisance birds off buildings.
Worcester Parsons hinges are fitted to the Robot
between the body and the wings allowing the
wing to move. The objective is to cause a panic
reaction so that the pest birds will fly away.
