The
long life that a steel window offers needs to
be supported by the fittings that are used.
Not only are our fittings durable, they complement
the elegant and timeless appearance that is
unique to the steel window. Made from high quality
noble materials such as brass and stainless
steel they are highly sustainable and unique
and available in a range of hard-wearing, attractive
finishes to suit any application. The range
of fittings includes matching casement fasteners
and stays for domestic or commercial applications.
A selection of fittings enable the windows to
open in a variety of ways, from top hung to
pivoting windows to restricted opening and fire
exits to concealed hinges that enable a clean
uncluttered appearance to the outside of the
building.
Multi-Point
System
Steel windows offer the highest levels of security
and now their inherent strength of construction
has been further enhanced through the introduction
of a new multi-point locking system available
on the W40 range from 600mm up to 2400mm in
height. Steel rails fit within the hollow steel
frame sections and are moved by the handle to
activate the cams and locking studs. There is
also the option of a night vent position. When
fitted to the window the heavy-duty handle used
in conjunction with Concealed Friction stays
or traditional Butt hinges maintains the overall
aesthetic of the Steel Window Association's
W40 system respecting the slender sight lines.
This multipoint locking system has been
awarded the prestigious Secured By Design accreditation.
