PURCHASING MANAGER

Basta Parsons Limited is Ireland's leading manufacturer of builders hardware for supply to the construction industry, both at home and abroad. The company is currently seeking to recruit a Purchasing Manager for their premises in Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo.

Responsibilities will include the following:-

1. Monitor MRP Purchase Order Action Report for Raw Materials and replenish stocks as required. Ensure stock availability at minimum stock value.

2. Action all purchase requisitions for spares etc as required.

4. Ensure all paperwork, either written or electronic is completed in an accurate and timely manner.

5. Negotiate all raw materials prices, including fuel etc and assist in carriage contract negotiations.

6. Manage Disposal of Scrap Zinc and other related factory wastes.

7. Co-ordinate and assist with Stock takes twice annually.

8. Maintain compliance with all ISO Procedures.

9. Achieve targets as per agreed Goals & Objectives.

10. Complete other tasks as requested.
